The role is highly dynamic, requiring strong management and leadership skills, and the ability to oversee and execute multiple areas of work simultaneously. This leader is expected to develop and execute a long-term organizational analytics strategy including establishing strong foundational elements and driving data literacy across the enterprise. Emphasis will be placed on building strategic relationships with a wide array of stakeholders and leverage existing relationships within and across Hologic while fostering an environment of creativity, continuous improvement, and innovation. Strong collaboration and clear communication are key. Success will depend upon effectively influencing and negotiating across business partners and regions to drive alignment on objectives, clear paths to execution and the delivery of measured outcomes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of data analysts, providing guidance, direction, and support in their day-to-day activities.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive analytics strategy to support Global Service objectives.

  • Collect and analyze data from various sources, including internal systems, third-party tools, and market research, to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards and reports to track and measure performance against these metrics.

  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders based on data analysis, helping them make informed decisions and drive business growth.

  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in analytics tools and technologies and evaluate their potential to improve our data analysis capabilities.

  • Drive data governance initiatives by establishing data quality standards, ensuring data accuracy, and implementing data security measures.

  • Partner with master data management teams to progress data-readiness and foundational elements required to enable AI solutioning.

  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data infrastructure, systems, and tools are optimized to support efficient data collection, storage, and analysis.

  • Effectively communicate complex analytical findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through presentations, reports, and visualizations.

  • Foster a culture of strong data literacy and data-driven decision making at all levels of the organization, promoting the use of analytics to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

  • Partner across the enterprise to achieve successful outcomes for Hologic while influencing changes in behaviors or outdated processes when necessary, fostering a continuous improvement mind set.

  • Build and develop leadership talent bench through effective selection and development planning for high potential individual contributors and managers.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of delivering impactful insights and recommendations based on data analysis.

  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing analytics strategies in a corporate environment.

  • Strong understanding of data governance principles and practices.

  • Familiarity with data visualization best practices and tools.

  • Experience working with large datasets and using statistical analysis techniques.

  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R is preferred.

  • Certification in relevant analytics tools or methodologies is a plus.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or Information Systems.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in analytics or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

  • Proven experience in data analysis and visualization tools, such as SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.

  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with a strong attention to detail.

  • In-depth knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and methodologies.

  • Proficiency in data modeling and data manipulation.

  • Strong business acumen and the ability to connect data insights to business objectives.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable insights.

  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

The annualized base salary range for this role is $179,900 to $200,000 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
