As Product Brand Manager you will be a key player of Hologic's EMEAC Interventional Breast and Surgical Franchise and will drive growth in close collaboration with EMEAC Countries. The key elements of the Product Brand Manager's role will be be to own the existing product portfolio and with a product focus, develop and action on needs to further increase relevance and value of the same. This will include close collaboration with the EMEAC sales managers (and dealers) as well as marketing executives. Other key elements of the role will be to support in execution of all EMEAC new product launch plans for the franchise. In this role, you will be the driver to implement agreed plans and tactics in local markets.
As a critical member of he EMEAC cross functional launch team, you will proactively seek to identify areas of improvements / propose solutions to the increasingly expanding product portfolio to the Sr Marketing Manager. You will have responsibility for executing on-time and on budget launches of all future new productsand will have responsibility for the Interventional Breast and Surgical Franchise sales and market share results.
Your key responsibilities and duties will include:
Own the portfolio in terms of identifying and act upon opportunities / areas of improvement
Be the 1st hand cross-functional interface for product related matters
Execute new products marketing and integrated communication plans
Interact with dealers, countries and when relevant, customers to gain insight on market and customer needs
Support Country Marketers and Hologic Dealers in focus markets, with their day to day portfolio related needs (incl new launches)
Stay informed about Interventional Breast and Surgical franchise performance and competitiveness and proactively recommend course corrective actions where appropriate
Key participant in the ongoing Demand Planning process
Member of New Product Commercialisation teams when relevant
What are we looking for?
An International/European Marketing professional with a strong track record in:
Product launches within preferably a Consumer Medical device environment, OTC or similar
Experience with digital communication channels and KPIs is a plus
Experience working with agencies (insights and communication agencies)
Strong commercial acumen
Proven track record of operating within a matrix organisation
Ability to navigate complexity and be comfortable with ambiguity
Ability to influence on all levels of the organisation with a strong bias for action
International Marketing experience
Brand/product management experience with a track record of generating innovative ideas and manage a total portfolio with high ROI
Ability to collaborate and influence in a matrix organisation
Demonstrated openness to diverse ideas and encouraging the same in others
Bachelor Degree or equivalent required
Strong oral and written communication skills
The successful candidate will not be satisfied with simply achieving goals but will seek ways to exceed them. They will have demonstrated that they take ownership and hold themselves and others accountable for commitments and they deliver despite constraints or unexpected obstacles. In such cases, the ability to drill into detail in order to fix problems and get things done is vital.
The candidate must have an action oriented mind-set and a heightened sense of urgency.
The successful candidate is able to build a network of relationships externally (e.g. distributors) and internally in order to operate effectively in a matrix structure, particularly with regional sales leads and Dealers. He/she will seek input from the local markets, but at the same time be a good coach and challenger of his/her peers, not shying away from bringing up uncomfortable issues of importance in order to discuss and resolve them.
