Hologic Ultrasound Specialist - California in San Francisco, California


We are seeking a Clinical Specialist in Ultrasound to help us accelerate the adoption of our newly acquired technology. In this role you will be responsible for leveraging your strong clinical and medical background in ultrasound to educate, consult and accelerate selling activities. You will be responsible for providing product demonstrations in hospitals, clinics, and medical facilities. You will be relied on as the product expert and will leverage your clinical knowledge to ensure that customers can maximize the benefits of our product portfolio.


  • Lead clinical demonstrations and sales support activities in clinical settings

  • Deliver pre- and post-sales training and customer support as assigned

  • Support marketing activities as required (tradeshows, KOL meetings, product development, etc.)

  • Obtain and share customer feedback

  • Support additional sales activities as required

  • Complete required training and administrative activities

  • Ability to analyze and recommend changes to training documents as well as constructing effective training programs.

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize workload to achieve business objectives.


  • Ultrasound accredited technical degree

  • RDMS credential with BR specialty a plus

  • 2+ years of work experience in clinical ultrasound or technical sales support position

  • 1+ year full-time clinical ultrasound experience in breast ultrasonography

  • Bachelor of Arts/Science from an accredited college or university preferred

  • MS Office software including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Position is field based, up to 100% travel required


  • Commercial Applications Experience a plus

  • Ultrasound teaching experience a plus

  • Thorough understanding of Ultrasound, Stereotactic and/or MR imaging a plus
