Our Information Technology (IT) Commercial team is looking for a Senior Salesforce Solutions Analyst to play a pivotal role in establishing IT as a strategic business partner that understands, enables, and improves core business strategy, processes, and operations through technology solution design and delivery. Reporting to our Solution Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for the SFDC system through configuration and user interface perspective. You will also analyze business needs and help identify the proposed solutions. You will be primarily responsible for delivering functionality and improvements to the system.

This role will conduct detailed impact analysis, while identifying opportunities and solutions for operational processes pertaining to Salesforce. You will interact with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), to review and understand business problems, needs and goals. You will work with Salesforce support to initiate a Change Management Plan to create or update a Salesforce request by end users. You will partner with Salesforce developers to implement business requests in a timely manner and create or update the request in the appropriate environment.

Partnering with the Solution Delivery Lead, you will confirm functional specifications and technical design are accurately reflected and cover the documented business requirements. You will also be responsible for ensuring the changes are moved into production successfully, including the change requests are raised and approved timely.

Day-to-day:

  • Provide business process guidance, technology solutions and on-going operational support

  • Be a subject matter expert (SME) with technical / functional solutions, across the SFDC technology

  • Design technology solutions, leveraging native application features first. Carefully design custom solutions leveraging configuration / code following best practice; in a manner that minimizes technology debt, allows users to manage data independently from IT, and is sustainable and scalable for future growth

  • Provide business partners with process driven, solution options, discerning between where people, process, technology, and/or data are key drivers for a successful outcome

  • Challenge legacy processes/policies/rules (or lack thereof) that complicate the internal and external Customer Experiences; recommend and be part of a better solution

  • Work across silos/business functions to provide comprehensive end-to-end solutions

  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies; educate business partners on what is possible via technology

  • Clearly socialize the business value of the solutions you have enabled

  • Documenting/translating business needs into functional and technical designs, requirements, unit tests, etc., using various tools (i.e., flow diagrams, testing automation, etc.) to achieve maximum comprehension, across technical and non-technical audiences

  • Ability to learn new skills quickly

Education

  • Requires Bachelor Degree in IT or Science field

  • Salesforce (SFDC) admin certification is required

  • Minimum 6 years working within the SFDC ecosystem

The annualized base salary range for this role is $106,200 to $166,100 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
