Hologic is seeking a Sales Training Manager - AE, Diagnostic Solutions, responsible for Account Executive learning programs including:
Developing, coordinating, and administering all training programs for all field diagnostic sales account executive employees
Helping plan and manage the national and regional sales meeting agendas, content and skill practice sessions in collaboration with the Director of Sales Training and/or Sales Training Manager.
Acting as a field sales performance expert
Helping identify, develop and deliver targeted sales training programs and initiatives required to build high performing teams within the Diagnostic Solutions division.
Collaborating and partnering with key corporate functions such as Marketing, Sales Leadership, Scientific Affairs, Legal, HR, Finance, and all other internal departments that work with the diagnostic sales force, to ensure that all training materials are updated and changes are communicated with the sales force.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Partner with Director of Sales Training and/or Manager, Sales Training to understand the division’s strategic and Sales/Marketing goals and how they align to the division‘s training needs
Partner with Director Sales Training and/or Manager, Sales Training todevelop sales training curriculum based on past classroom success and current competitive opportunity
Develop and update programs and training materials for sales force based on current market conditions
With coaching from Director Sales Training and/or Manager, Sales Training, develop self around high impact project management, process skills and Adult Learning Principles
Evaluate the continuous improvement of existing learning programs with an emphasis on improved learner retention, competitive product knowledge and high performance indicators
Understand sales training and coaching trends and best practices
Responsible for development and implementation of program materials (i.e., facilitator guides, participant materials, etc.).
Keep material relevant and up to date including determining what isrelevant to different audiences and applying to deliver high impact training plans and sales programs
Create and participate in plans for change
Facilitate training classes at corporate and offsite venues
Conduct field travel to understand future sales training needs, coach and develop account executives
Develop internal product training
Work with team to drive the training/product/marketing message through all communication channels by partnering with internal and external communication resources and functions
Assist sales management in coordinating activities of team to achieve set goals
Oversee and coordinate the efforts of the Account Executive Field Sales Trainers in designated alignment of sales training role
On a prescribed interval, work with Manager, Sales Training to appoint new Field Sales Trainers
Lead the development of new programs and activities that will enhance the skillset of account executives
Up to 75% travel required

Experience with medical device, laboratory diagnostics required, molecular products preferred.
Experience with capital equipment/instrumentation, laboratory diagnostic products, experience with disposable products preferred
Significant experience interacting with pathologists, laboratory administrators and/or other laboratory staff
Strong leadership skills
Ability to collaborate successfully with others to define business objectives, strategies and tactics
Strong project management skills. Able to articulate a plan and manage to tasks to achieve stated goals and objectives
Ability to meet strict deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Entrepreneurial work ethic. Self-starter.
Strong team-orientation with demonstrated ability to both lead and follow
Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal, organizational and presentation/facilitation skills
Ability to embrace learning new skills, knowledge and behaviors
Minimum of ten years of experience in sales or sales training
Three to five years of medical sales experience preferred
