Hologic is seeking a Project Specialist responsible for supporting and assisting product/project teams.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates and facilitates completion of specific milestones or deliverables for projects under direction of Core Team Leader.

  • Processes and maintains design control documentation and Design History Files, per procedures.

  • Maintains design control database supporting PRD, PSD, Risk, and other trace matrix data.

  • Generates Trace Matrix documentation with team input.

  • Supports design reviews by tracking deliverables and review information. Ensures action items are resolved and documented.

  • Interacts with team members, including senior level staff, in driving the completion of deliverables.

  • Communicates deliverable status to core team leaders and team members.

  • Other duties as assigned.


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the basic knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required:

  • Ability to acquire knowledge of project management tools.

  • Trained in Design Control procedures.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, spreadsheets and word processing in a Microsoft Windows environment.

  • Proficient with Adobe Acrobat, Agile, and DOORS (or similar database).


  • Bachelor's degree.


  • 0-2 years of related experience.
