Facilities Maintenance Technician:

We are looking for a dynamic team player that can provide hands on skills combined with technical knowledge to support facilities requirements driven by new product development, manufacturing, and company growth. This dynamic facilities maintenance technician will work with the Facilities & Engineering staff in the operation, maintenance, adjustment, repair, and GMP/QSR compliance of facilities plant and equipment improvements, and modifications, and building services.

What to expect:

  • Responsible for maintaining and repairing non-production equipment and machinery, including third party vendor coordination.

  • Coordinate repairs and modifications of facility infrastructure and systems, including wall board, carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical services, with internal or external resources.

  • Assist in operating, maintaining, and repairing all plant mechanical systems, and building services: HVAC systems, refrigeration systems, compressed air and vacuum systems, building management systems (BMS) etc.

  • Complete assigned work requests and work orders related to the preventative and corrective maintenance programs for all building systems.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management, including troubleshooting and diagnostics of building systems.

What we expect:

  • Proven experience with technology, software, and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems, including problem solving, initial diagnosis, and directing third party repair experts.

  • Experience coordinating the work of maintenance personnel and vendors, and coordinating work schedules, preventative maintenance programs, and spare parts inventories.

  • Ability to read, interpret, and work on architectural, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing drawings, schematics, and single line diagrams.

  • Ability to work independently with no supervision. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.

Education & Experience:

  • High school graduate or equivalent, with one or more years of construction trade school and/or formal training on HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, and / or electrical systems. Higher education experience desired.

  • 3+ years of experience is preferred in general facility maintenance and repair with the use of hand and power tools in most of the following areas: drywall, carpentry, plumbing, door maintenance and basic electrical.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Valid California Driver’s License and good driving record required.

The annualized base salary range for this hourly role is $44,000-$66,000 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
