Job Summary

The position serves as the internal business partner and primary point of contact for the field sales team and, when needed, the external customer. A Sales Support Specialist delivers value throughout the presale to order journey by ensuring that all aspects are handled in an accurate and expeditious manner while delivering a great customer experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for regional Diagnostic sales teams to facilitate matters related to back-office needs and issues, such as Salesforce.com quoting, goodwill orders, sales order lookup, and more.

  • Act as the facilitator for Salesforce.com Diagnostic Account Executive quoting by translating sales requests and revisions into Salesforce.com CPQ configurations and collaborating with Commercial Contracts to generate a customer facing agreement.

  • Process goodwill request on behalf of all Diagnostic sales users to help support customer needs and maintain relationships.

  • Take ownership and ensure a timely resolution of escalated issues that arise on behalf of the sales rep and their customer.

  • Collaborate and build strong relationships with internal teams to support needs of the sales team and their customers. Key groups include Customer Support, Commercial Contracts, Sales Enablement, and Sales Excellence.

  • Participate and engage in product training opportunities and product launches to ensure knowledge is up to date for best supporting our internal and external customers.

  • Working knowledge of an ERP (preferably Oracle) and the ability to learn other computer programs a must

  • SFDC.com quoting experience desired

  • High energy, self-motived, proactive, goal oriented and enthusiastic Education

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience Experience
