Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Senior Cost Accountant will be responsible for reviewing and reporting on production variances (work order, scrap, rework, refurbishment)
Review Purchase Price Variances and Cycle Count results
Standard Cost Maintenance and Product Costing
Month end journal entries and inventory reconciliation
Prepare Excess and Obsolete Inventory analyses
Monthly Labor and Overhead Analysis
Interact with and provide information as requested by external auditors for quarterly reviews
Prepare monthly Factory Performance Tracking
Report Operations and Service Inventory Levels
Reconcile In-transit Inventory
Track and Reconcile Demo Inventory pools
Work with related departments and ensure Sarbanes Oxley compliance
Work with Purchasing and Manufacturing to validate Savings projects
Other ad-hoc analyses as required

Must have working experience in the Cost Accounting field
Strong knowledge of Manufacturing and Materials operations
Oracle or other ERP systems is a plus
Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills
- Bachelors Degree (Preferably in Accounting or Business Management)
- Minimum Five years of hands on Cost Accounting experience
- Strong Excel skills, Hyperion a plus
