The Senior Contracts Specialist will support the sales organizations for multiple divisions of Hologic, through the Womens’ Health Group. This position is responsible for reviewing and/or developing sales contracts and partnering with internal and external customers to ensure sales contract documents are in compliance with and adhere to Hologic legal terms, conditions, and policies.
EssentialDuties and Responsibilities
Developkey relationships with business area stakeholders
Collaboratewith area stakeholders to identify and refine strategies and processes tosupport Hologic interests
Driveand manage projects to support the key initiatives
Identifyand assist with implementation of process improvements
Assistwith the implementation of commercial policy and strategy
Interviewand make hiring recommendations for new team members for his/her business area
Developstrategy, review, draft and negotiate non-standard sales contracts - with a focuson high value, high complexity agreements
Prepareand/or participate in the preparation of sales proposals, agreements andrelated documents including Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and cross-divisionalcustomer contracts
Partnerwith Contracts Specialists I, III & IV, along with Hologic’s internal departments tosupport the negotiations of customer contract terms and conditions to ensuresales contracts are consistent with Hologic’s terms, conditions, policies andprocedures
Participatein and support cross-divisional efforts to develop and implement a consistentcustomer contract framework and standardized terms and conditions acrossHologic
Coordinatereview and input from appropriate business functions and cross-functional teamsas needed to complete contracting documents
Coordinatewith the other members of the Commercial Contracting team to ensure effectiveworkflow, consistent process execution and unified approach
Negotiate and drive positive resolution of contractualissues or disputes when required
Manageand drive improvements to department metrics (i.e. win rate, contract value,compliance)
Train new hires on contracting guidelines and processes
Provide guidance to internal stakeholders inunderstanding and interpreting contract terms and conditions
Participate in all required job training and developmentcourses and seminars
Cross train on other functions to provide back upsupport to other Contracts Specialists

- Bachelor’sdegree required; JD, MBA, or relevant advanced degree a plus
5+years of relevant experience in a corporate legal/contracting department
Experience working with sales contracts in the healthcareindustry is preferred
