Senior Analyst, Commerical Analytics

The primary role of the Analyst is to provide sales analysis and decision support to the assigned management team. The position reports to Manager, Commercial Analytics and with support and guidance from the manager will enable the deployment of appropriate analytical models, leverage disparate data sources and facilitate sound business decisions by the management team. Analyst will also work closely with Sales Excellence team and contribute towards the development of a high performance sales team.

Planning, Reporting & Analysis

  • Create and distribute all relevant analysis necessary to support the assigned organization. Reports should be management friendly and analysis should be completed in a timely manner with high quality. Reports should be actionable focusing on key performance indicators, market trends and revenue opportunities.

  • Design dashboards to streamline reporting and enable self-service reporting and analytics.

Advanced Analytic Support

  • Lead evaluation of sales and marketing programs using appropriate study design, KPIs and a well thought out analytical plan. Drive ROI improvements and contribute to ongoing performance improvements and development of a high caliber sales team.

Teamwork and Training

  • The person in this role should work well with the various team members of Sales Operations, Marketing, Finance, and the broader Hologic community.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or Statistics or other Social Sciences discipline with an aptitude and training for quantitative analysis required, Master’s degree preferred.


  • 3+ years of experience in an analytical support role required

  • Prior sales support experience preferably in healthcare sector desired


  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Expertise in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and familiarity with reporting packages such as Oracle, Qliksense, Tableau

  • Ability to match/merge databases to facilitate appropriate analyses is required

  • Ability to work independently and be a team player

  • Must be able to travel regularly to various Hologic sites and sales meetings as needed
