This is a Part-Time position with the ability to be considered Full Time should a position become available in the future.

The GlobalMedical Education Specialist position provides support to customer education initiatives through general department operational oversight and the management of the grant process. This position will provide cross functional support to the Education Team and Medical Relations team. This position reports directly to the Senior Director, Medical Education for Breast and Skeletal Health Solutions with a dotted line to the Project Manager, Medical Education who you will share this position with.

EssentialDuties and Responsibilities

  • Managesall department ordering of materials to include office supplies and medicaleducation support materials for training activities

  • Securesmeeting rooms and any specific requests related to all department programs fromgeneral meetings to medical education training programs

  • Providessupport for shipping and receiving of training items to the field sales forceor other Medical Education related functions

  • Managesdepartment invoices, PO’s and check approval process for the different MedicalEducation functions

  • Supportthe grant management process: Submissions, review process /grant reviewmeetings, budget, communications to applicant, check approval process etc.

  • ManagesSunshine Act reporting of HCPs

  • Supportsthe onboarding of new MedEd team members

  • Supportsthe registration and tracking of program attendees

  • Providesa quarterly budget update

  • Supportsmass mailings or printing or materials for programs

  • Supportsdatabase management for the education and medical relations teams

  • Maywork with vendors and legal to secure contracts and NDA forms per the needs ofthe department

  • SupportFranchise needs are requested by the Clinical Affairs Liaisons

  • Takeson other roles and responsibilities that may be requested in support of thedepartment or the success of Hologic

Education

  • AADegree

  • Experiencein the healthcare industry with a medical education focus

Experience

  • 2-5years of experience in working with healthcare/medical 2+ years of medicaleducation

  • Experiencemanaging processes and hard timelines

  • Experiencewith check processing, invoicing and PO Management to include budget management

  • Strongknowledge working with websites and database management systems

  • Strongorganizational skills

  • Eventplanning experience to include leading an actual program from start to finish

  • Comfortablemaking recommendations and changes to improve what Medical Education does

  • Abilityto work independently as well as a member of a project team

Additional Details

  • 10%travel may be required

  • Willingto work weekends as needed in support of medical education programs

  • Potentialfor more days to cover vacations of other team members
