Somatex, a Hologic company, is on the lookout for a dynamic and detail-oriented Supplier Quality Engineer to join our innovative team in Berlin. If you are a recent engineering graduate ready to embark on a rewarding career in the medical technology field, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct technical reviews of suppliers and develop and maintain robust quality systems for supplier selection and evaluation.

• Execute activities to comply with regulatory standards and meet requirements established in the QMS around suppliers quality management.

• Partner with suppliers on problem solving and root cause analysis to avoid repeat failures. Apply metrology and statistical measurement to problem analysis and resolution.

• Collaborate with Post Market Surveillance and other internal stakeholders such as quality engineering, MFG engineering, research & development to address complaints linked to supplier situations.

• Support audits as an SME.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electronic Engineering (recent graduate).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Knowledge of quality systems and regulatory requirements is a plus.

• Prior internship within a medical or automotive company is an advantage, please highlight this in your CV.
